The Sun makes a triumphant entry into Sagittarius on November 21, 2017 at 10:05 pm ET, and we can all breathe a sigh of relief. What a journey! This past Scorpio Season (from Oct 23-Nov 21) was filled with so much energy. Sometimes that energy was turbulent, and other times, it required a significant and often gut wrenching balancing act.
If you’ve got your Sun, Moon, Rising Sign, other planets, or your 7th house in Gemini, Aquarius, Libra, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, you’re likely to feel as if you’ve been to hell and back, or had your heart ripped out of your chest, or had open heart surgery without anesthesia.
While the Sun was in Scorpio, it was not alone. For roommates, the Sun had Venus and Jupiter in Scorpio (and a New Moon on the 26th of Nov, 2017), as its planetary companions. Venus brings matters of love, lust, physical beauty, and finances into the mix. Jupiter expands whatsoever it touches. Therefore, if the prevailing circumstances were dire, unsavory or you had trouble in the love and romance department, chances are it was magnified exponentially and brought up close and personal for you to see, witness, or examine.
New Moons often indicate a new beginning of some sort. In Scorpio, a paradigm shift is usually required where there is often a casting away of what used to be i.e. the old way of doing things, and a new paradigm is sought, desired or required. You may have found yourself having to dig deep into the deepest, scariest parts of your soul in some aspect of life or another, faced scary truths and fears, and had to purge your soul. Now, like the proverbial Phoenix which Scorpio reminds us of, it’s time to rebuild from the ashes of what may have been destroyed during this transit, OR the destruction which had already occurred sometime in the past, but unbeknownst to you – in astrology, Scorpio had rulership over mysteries, secrets and secrecy.
In dating and relationships, with the type of planetary line up in Scorpio (as described above), you may have felt like the main character in a Keyshia Cole song. The one which immediately comes to mind is “I should have cheated,” (we do NOT recommend cheating!), also known as “I might as well have.” Even if your circumstances are not similar to the protagonist’s or the lyrics of that song, the emotional turbulence encapsulated in those lyrics and in the video itself can help to explain the explosive nature of the past few weeks (i.e. Scorpio Season). The good news is: You can now come up for air….FINALLY!! Note: We still have Venus in Scorpio until the December 1, 2017, and Jupiter in Scorpio for a whole year (until November 2018), so there’s still some work to do. Be sure to implement the lessons learned, and make the changes required so you can evolve and move forward in love, life, career etc.
A Word To The Wise
If you’ve got your Sun, Moon, Rising Sign, some other planet, or your 7th house in Gemini, Aquarius, Libra, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Virgo, Capricorn, Taurus: Treat the upcoming few weeks with caution.
