Are you dating or in a relationship with an astrological sign that’s opposite yours? This occurrence is so intriguing that I coined the term Oppo-Signs™, in order to shed some cosmic light on the potentials such unions might have. Hind-sight is 20/20 and also a great learning tool.
Opposite signs come in the following pairs: Aries-Libra, Taurus-Scorpio, Gemini-Sagittarius, Cancer-Capricorn, Leo-Aquarius, Virgo-Pisces.
To illustrate what happens when opposite signs attract, and the potential for compatibility and success between these signs, I’ll use celebrities (Drake and Adele), and the inner working of their relationship as our example.
Question: If creativity can be enhanced and genius can be born by blending fashion trends, eras, and empires. Can we say the same about blending musical genres? Musical backgrounds? Personalities?
Background information: Adele is a Taurus; Drake is a Scorpio.
(See birthday details below).
It’s no secret a lot of entertainers would love to collaborate with Adele. One of such entertainers is Drake, a successful hip hop rapper who famously “Started From The Bottom, Now He’s Here.” Remember that song? Warning: explicit lyrics (Just the way Scorpio likes it!)
Here’s what happened:
Adele, released the single ‘Hello’ from her album 25, to much acclaim. We all enjoyed Adele’s haunting vocals, and heartfelt lyrics. Her perfectly sculpted features were reminiscent of Venus, the mythological Roman goddess of love and beauty, while her cat-eye makeup was a toss between Egyptian Queen Cleopatra and screen siren, Brigit Bardot.
When British chanteuse Adele, informed etalk that she was interest in an official remix of her hit song ‘Hello’ with Hip Hop rapper, Drake’s ‘Hot Line Bling’ which was also very successful, was a potential match made in music-heaven?
According to etalk, Adele said,“I really want us to do an official remix. I love Drake. I love Drake so much,” she says, when asked about the abundance of memes about her hit “Hello” and his “Hotline Bling.” She continued by saying, “I even got the coat that’s in the video, I got it delivered the other day, I ordered it. The red one.”
Drake responded with positive feedback, saying, “I’d do anything with Adele,” said Drake. “I’d literally go to Adele’s house right now and do laundry for her.” – As reported by etalk.
Is this a simple case of two very successful entertainers wanting to work together or could the mystery behind their seemingly instant-click with each other be in the stars?

Taurus and Scorpio are Oppo-Signs™. This describes the magnetic attraction often felt between signs that are exactly opposite each other (i.e. 180 degrees apart) on the zodiac wheel.
Astrologically speaking, when two signs are opposite each other in the zodiac wheel, each person has or projects what the other loves or not, wants or needs, likes or dislikes.
Adele’s comment and open declaration of love – albeit professional love – is one of the best moves to make when dealing with a Scorpio. Scorpio is a sign who insists on a ride-or-die partner in any relationship. With Scorpio, chances are you will be required to prove your loyalty…constantly! Lol.
Adele showed her loyalty even further when she said “I even got the coat that’s in the video, I got it delivered the other day, I ordered it. The red one.” In Scorpio language, that’s solid proof of a ride-or-die person. With Scorpio, the sign of extremes, you’ll have to go the extra mile.
While Drake’s comment may have sounded a bit over the top – remember, Scorpio is the sign of extremes – it hit the right spot because Drake (a Scorpio) understands exactly how to say the words that Adele (a Taurus) wants to hear! Loyal, dependable, hard-working Taurus is an Earth sign who needs to know that people they associate with will work as hard them. Examples include relationships, friends, family and business partners. Learn more about Taurus.
A successful example of a Taurus-Scorpio collaboration was the hit song/track/single, ‘Post To Be’ by Omarion (a Scorpio), Chris Brown (a Taurus) and the amazing Jhene Aiko (a Pisces). Sidebar: Remember her famous, chart-bursting lyrics “Eat the booty like groceries?” Lol.
Can this be used as proof of success when Oppo-Signs™ collaborate? Can this formula be replicated in dating and relationships?
For Adele and Drake, this could be a classic case of “You complete me,” where each sign intuitively senses what the other needs in order to accomplish specific goals.
When opposites attract, there tends to be an innate understanding of the differences in each other’s personalities. By the way, what if Adele starts rapping or Drake starts belting out haunting lyrics with heavy emotions in the style of Adele? Lol.
The million dollar question is: Do opposites attract?
Yes, opposites attract. Sometimes successfully, and other times, unsuccessfully. Sometimes (not all), it pays to keep an open mind, and be willing to try new things. After all, hind-sight is 20/20 and also a great learning tool.
Here Are Some Astrological Reasons Why Opposites Attract:
Opposite signs usually represent the qualities we project, seek out and require from partners – in love, career, business etc. Thus, it is a sign of partnerships (business and/or personal), legal matters, open enemies, among other things. This probably explains one of the reasons why signs opposite each other in the zodiac wheel often attract, repel or attract then repel each other. Lol.
We wish Adele and Drake much happiness and success in their attraction (i.e. music collaboration and business partnership with each other) and look forward to checking out their music!

Question: Have you ever dated, attracted or been in a relationship with a zodiac sign that’s opposite your sign? If so, how was it?
Please note: This is not a detailed, comprehensive, astrological analysis of each celebrity entertainer’s individual natal chart, however, their Sun signs are Oppo-Signs, thus appropriate for this conversation.
